Meet Sophia Scheel
Artist and Entertainer
15-year-old singer, dancer, actor, and musician. She has been performing since the age of 6 and released her first original single and music video "Notice Me" in 2018. Sophia has a passion for singing the National Anthem and has performed at various events and universities, including the Nashville Sounds and The Ohio State University. As a member of the Heimermann Children's Choir she has performed and recorded with various Christian artists such as David Phelps. Sophia has studied voice with some of the greatest vocal coaches such as Renee Grant Williams, Jon Audric Nelson, Rachel Potter, Morgan Lee Scheel, Brook Swiger and Charles Heimermann.
Sophia has been a working actor since the age of 7 and has worked on many great productions over the years. Recap of some of her work includes principal dancer role in the feature film Holland with Nicole Kidman, Eve in Camp Radio episode 8, Young Katie in Sam Williams music video “Tilted Crown'', Shilo & Bros Episode Restaurant Tycoon Games, reoccurring roles with the children show Mother Goose Club Playhouse and is currently enjoying the US and European release of her first starring role in the movie Hope Chest with Wild Bones Productions. Sophia has performed in multiple musicals and theatrical plays over the years and is currently working on a role in A Trip to the Moon. She has trained with various acting studios and coaches such as A Class Act NY, Andrew Chappelle, Nashville Acting Studio, BIZKIDZ Talent Coaching and Janet Ivey. Sophia plays and studies electric and acoustic guitar with jazz musician Jason Gimbal who is also the lead guitar player for country group Lady A. She also has been studying classical piano since the age of 6. Sophia is currently a dance company member at Milele Academy. Sophia has worked and trained with some amazing choreographers in all genres of dance since the age of 8 such as Dana Daners, Marissa Milele, Justin Milele, Phil Wright, Blake Mcgrath, Ben Madrigal, Brian Freeman, Kent Boyd, Michael Dameski, Travis Cooper, Kemmian Beard, Roshonda Brown, Danika Miles, William Harris, Daniel Thomas, Magda Fialek, Benjamin Blevins, and was given the Choice Artist Award from hip hop choreographer Tawanna Hall.
Her hobbies include volleyball, fireflies, learning languages, and collecting betta fish.
